Greetings lee montessori. I am Ivy Greenfieldboyce reporting from an interview with school worker Miss Lopez. This was written March 4th 2023- March 30 2023. This is what I learned about one of Lee’s favorite teachers.
The first question I asked her was naturally do you like working here? And why? I was a little surprised by her answer. She said that yes, she loves working here, and in a response for why she said she loves watching kids grow and know that she played a role, socially, emotionally, and academically.
After that I really wanted to know what her favorite thing about working here is.
To this she replied that she really likes to work with the other children and staff here at our school.
But I still wanted to know something: what did you want to be when you were a kid?
She said she wanted to teach. And told me about how when she was little she used to say “baby” pointing at other babies and her mother would say she was a baby too.
I wanted to know what do you do in a day? So I asked her!
She says that in a day a large part of what she does is communicate with parents. Another thing she does is is provide behavior support to kids.
Just then i realized i had only asked about the good things so i needed to know what is her least favorite thing about working here? Here’s your answer!
From what I had asked she hates it when kids get into physical fights and hurt each other. And if you’re a student here please consider this if in a fight.
And finally to get a little bit more information i had to ask her if you could change one thing what would it be?
She said that she wished the school was bigger so more students could go here and all the teachers could have their own workspace.
